Community Work

A key principle of Impact Football East Lothian, is developing our key partnerships in the local community. We aim to do this buy ensuring our sessions and programmes are accessible in terms of price and ultimately high in terms of the quality. We have delivered sessions for many organisations and have also delivered sessions in local schools with young people of additional needs, ensuring that football really is accessible to all.

Impact Football East Lothian has recently worked in partnership with leading Scottish children’s charity, Children 1st. This partnership has grown extensively and has seen the development of a ‘The Impact Football Project’, a unique programmed delivering football sessions in a safe, fun and happy environment to local young people who may otherwise, not have access to football in such an environment.

The Impact Football Project’ exists to provide socially inclusive sessions, in a vibrant environment with a clear focus on the personal growth of the young people involved. We use football as the vehicle to develop young people and enhance personal and social skills that are transferable in day-to-day life.
